According to this page, one champion costs 975 RP, which equates to USD 7.50 or around SGD 9.60
10 bucks for a champ is a bit too much, don't u think? I'm hoping 1 gs card would get us more than just 1 champ...
there should be bundle sales for a bunch of champion , which cost cheaper. i guess you should use those 975 rp to buy some newest champion. or maybe skins.Originally Posted by Nirvana.n00b
or my advice to everyone will be refer a friend , and get ip boost 1 for 1 each refered friend. get to level 5 and done. so with ip boost , you get to earn ip much faster , so you can buy more champions which you think you like or capable with.. and there is also additional rewards for the number of referrals you have.

Thats why it is not recommended to buy champions with RP, since they are avaliable in IP anyway. Anyway, I am pretty fine with this, as it kind of lessen advantages given to those rich people aka "cash noobs".

The idea is that everything is free, but if you want to pay you have to pay a lot. If you want to save you can get champ packs (on NA, so I think there will be Shell equivalents) that basically make about 15 champions cost you only $25, which is huge savings.
It doesn't make sense for a free to play game to price their only sales items cheaply. How else would they earn money? You don't see ads ingame, do you?
