League of Legends Replay System

Did you know there's a third party League of Legends Replay System? Even though it is unofficial, it still works great (but there are risks).

Hey all!

Our engineers spent some time diagnosing the program and didn't find anything that made us suspect there is anything malicious living within. That said, like with anything developed by a 3rd party for the League of Legends community, please use at your own risk.

I have used it before. You can exchange and watch other replays as well as long as you place it in the "replay" folder. (Program Files/lolreplay/replays). The only drawback is that you can only view ONE team because the fog of war is still there. However, you can still move around freely.

Here's an example: CheeseTiramisu, Crimson, Dark Fox, Pieman, Imprint vs iNtrigueD, Axion, xAidenZ, d4rkness, ziCkeNx

You mean 1 player and his viewpoint only, you cant see hp at all.

Not sure if it is because I didn't use it properly, but its not working for me.

I downloaded and install the application from the link and ran it. LOLReplay then minimizes itself into the system tray and I went to start my LoL client. I then proceeded on to play a normal game and when the game ended, I maximized the application and this is what it says:

League of Legends - Replay Recorder
Replays will be automatically recorded
Waiting for new match...
Started new recording
Finished Recording

So far so good.

But the box below is blank and went I checked the replay folder, the folder is empty.

I am pretty sure I used it correctly, correct me if I am wrong. Meanwhile I gonna restart the thing and try again to see if it records properly.

You did it properly, might be a bug. It is pretty buggy for the time being.

I've tried starting in the middle of the game. Failed.
But I have started it while the client is switched on, so it's fine.

You MIGHT have a permission problem. Maybe it is preventing the program from writing on the C:\ drive. I'm not sure, try looking at the original thread.

After restarting the application and trying it out again, I have received a new error message:

Error saving replay to LoLReplay. Please try reinstalling the application in a different directory.

I have installed LoLReplay on the default directory, C:\Program Files\LOLReplay. So what does this mean? Do I have to like install it in the LoL folder or something else?

I am getting an access denied / unable to save replay error?

For now, try reinstalling LOL Replay to your desktop instead, and run as administrator. The next release should have a bunch of fixes for these types of errors, but not installing to Program Files may fix it for now.

This is quoted from the official site. I am gonna do that and try again, see how it works.

Same here. I tried the method given on the official site, which basically asked me to install it on the desktop rather than in Programme File, but still the same problem. Maybe it doesn't work on Garena LoL? Has anyone successfully tried it?

maybe its because we're using garena messenger to open it. the files and stuff may be coded differently? i have no idea what coding is but that's my guess :X
