    Masteries for Tank and support with New Masteries tree

    Dear Summoners
    With new masteries tree, there are many different options for us
    What is your masteries with tank( malphite, rammus, maokai..etc) and full support( janna, sona,etc...)
    is it better to full 30 defense and 30 uitlity or 9/21/0 and 9/0/21 for tank and support respectively

    Frankly the new masteries offer so much viability and just so much Oom. Deciding which point goes where can be a tad bit difficult, but think of it this way, Know the champion you're playing, how you're playing and decide do you want more tankiness? more dmg? or just more ulility?

    I think for a tank Jugg is necessary though.

    I get a 0/6/24 for Pure Supports and 0/21/9 for Tanks.

    Here's the breakdown:

    Supports:
    Resistance Level 3
    Hardiness Level 3

    Summoner's Insight Level 1
    Expanded Mind Level 3

    Meditation Level 3
    Scout Level 1

    Greed Level 4
    Runic Affinity Level 1

    Wealth Level 2
    Awareness Level 4
    Sage Level 1

    Intelligence Level 3

    Mastermind Level 1

    This gives you a lot of utility and makes you slightly tankier too due to the 6 points in the Defensive Tree. There's also a lot of extra Gold that can be gotten by these supports enabling them to ward better. The Mana Regen and extra Mana helps out with their early game Mana Regen too. I have taken Sage because Supports are able to get a lot of Assists easily so the extra Exp from that and Awareness will be able to help the Supports keep up with the team on Levels despite having to leave the lane to ward often.

    Tanks:
    Resistance Level 3
    Hardiness Level 3

    Durability Level 4

    Indomitable Level 1
    Veteran's Scars Level 1
    Evasion Level 3

    Siege Commander Level 1

    Honor Guard Level 3

    Juggernaut Level 1

    Summoner's Insight Level 1
    Expanded Mind Level 3

    Meditation Level 3
    Scout Level 1

    Runic Affinity Level 1

    This takes all of the defensive masteries from the Defensive Tree (ignoring Tough Skin, Vigor and Bladed Armor because the bonuses they give are lacklustre. Tough Skin and Bladed Armor only offers damage reduction from monsters and minions and Vigor's Health Regen bonus is too small to really matter). Siege Commander is taken because it is accessible and would be helpful to your team when taking down turrets (since no one else would be going so deeply into the Defensive Tree anyway, it'd be better for you to just take it for that added advantage). Also, the masteries in the Utility Tree help with your Mana problems, especially in the early game. Scout is taken because Tanks might be the one warding for your team (especially Support Tanks like Galio and Taric).
