Metagame is a term used to describe the most commonly preferred team comp/strategy.
Right now for solo queue it's bruiser top, AP carry mid, AD and support bottom and a jungler.
1. Boots, Dorans Blade, Phage, Randuin's Omen, Maw of Malmortius. Early Brutalizer is optional if dominating.
Complete Youmuu's, Triforce or Bloodthirster if snowballing or fed enough.
Against AP rush Hexdrinker.
Reason why I suggest Randuin's is because it makes Wukong's already scary initiation even better. E > R > Randuins after they land so they can't escape.
2. Depends on how "important" you are after reviving.
A tank like Sejuani who's real strength is her high cooldown ultimate would likely prefer FoN for MR (it gives the most MR in the game), while Randuin's active is INCREDIBLY good.
But for example Riven or AD carries that do not want to lose Bloodthirster stacks after death, or are able to deal a lot more sustained damage, GA would likely be a better choice.
If Sejuani bought a GA and revived it wouldn't really make a difference.
1. Depends on how the enemy AD carry is doing as well, but in general all Tris wants to do mid game is farm.
Her mid game is nothing short of crap and she will likely lose out to most other AD carries at this point, so what you want to do is rush that IE + PD by farming like a maniac, picking up kills if the opportunity arises so that you reach her godly late game.
2. I find Shyvana works well when dealing with Nunu.
She blazes through her jungle really quickly which gives Nunu little chance to steal camps, and can also punish him if he ganks (since you won't really gank much as Shyvana).
3. Tanky bruisers with sustain.
I imagine Warwick or Xin Zhao mid would wreck her.
Most AP champs are really squishy and can't escape Diana once she hits 6, but bruisers are tanky and if she has to keep her harass up she runs out of mana very quickly.
EDIT: Actually now that I think about it, Morgana might work.
Moonfall has a long elaborate animation which you can use Black Shield to block the pull and slow, then you use R > W > Q if she decides to all-in on you.
The ambush damage is pretty much all he has going for him right now.
They nerfed his passive, Q and ultimate before releasing him IIRC.
ALL he has is that 80% chunk in the early game, but as long as you play passive and stay away from the bushes it will be extremely hard to even land that combo.
After the early game, bushes become rarer unless you pick fights in the jungle or Baron, in which case Rengar has no gap closer.
He's EXTREMELY kiteable and pretty much REQUIRES you to use Empowered E for the snare to ever get close without bushes, which reduces his damage significantly since he can't use Empowered Q.
He's extremely reliant on snowballing, much like Shaco. If he doesn't snowball he can get kited to hell and back late game.
1. Better as a tank IMO.
While his AP ratios are high, missing them can often be devastating.
AP tanky items do not really have CDR on them which Cho really needs because his cooldowns are long as heck.
Whereas tank items have CDR on them, and more armor/MR to stack on his free HP from Feast stacks.
2. Irelia was a very safe pick for top lane til recently.
She can handle most top laners post 6, and after that scales well into teamfights if the enemy has squishy champs.
She can jump on them and ignore most CCs while dealing heavy true damage to them.
Problem is the 2v1 lane swap that is common in tourneys right now.
Irelia doesn't do well in a 2v1 lane since she HAS to be in melee range to last hit. You'll eat free harass for every CS you want to get.
(Many bruisers do not scale well into teamfights due to being starved for most of the early game if in a 2v1)
3. Fiddlesticks, Swain, jungle Nocturne.
There is pretty much NOTHING Vlad can do against Fiddle without the jungler camping his lane. It's that bad.
You ever walk into Drain range you are eating at least 2 secs of it (more if he fears you), and if you decide to pool it doesn't even cancel Drain.
Heck he actually outsustains you and there's nothing you can do to stop him.
Swain can wreck him too by using the slow and baiting the pool, then using his W where you emerge.
Nocturne's tether for Unspeakable Horror is not cancelled by pooling which makes it difficult to survive his ganks since you'll get feared if you use your escape at the wrong time.
You aren't going to win your counterpicks unless you're much better a player than the enemy.
Push the early advantages, get map objectives like turrets or Dragons.
If you did well with Shaco early game your team should be heavily snowballed, just don't drag the game long enough for the enemy to become as farmed as your team.
Especially don't let the game drag to late game. Shaco's late game is pretty non-existent.
Rumble early, Darius later.
It's easy to itemize against Rumble, just rush a Hexdrinker. Hexdrinker gives AD champs damage, health(the shield) and MR at the same time, which makes it ridiculously good against most AP tops.
But early in the game, Rumble has equal damage but can kite Darius with Electro Harpoons and his W.
Still pretty OP IMO. Always has been.

1) Vladimir
2) Ahri
3) Ryze
4) Rumble
Of these four, which one is overall a safer pick? and which one fits easier into general team comps? Which one offers most to a team and why?

O.o I know vlad and ryze are the safer picks, but Ahri seemed more high risk high reward to me. Cause she's skillshot dependent and knowing who to charm and combo on in full blown teamfights can seem really hectic. Plus if she's caught by some CCs she gets blown up pretty fast (i know she has her ult, but those ccs like knockups and silences and stuns hit her kinda hard IMO. its like one wrong step and you're dead)
That said, I know if she stays alive and keeps throwing in those Qs the damage adds up to be pretty enormous. But she seems to need to be fed much more than vlad and ryze for her to really churn out the damage. to me at least. Any thoughts?
